Manju Walia, Marketing Director for Asia Today – a monthly publication dedicated to serving the South Asian community in Arizona, was born and raised in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. She has been working with the various South Asian organizations in helping support events that bring the rich festivals, arts, and heritage of the South Asian subcontinent to Arizona. In addition to having a full time job, running the business and marketing aspects of Asia Today, Arizona’s First Annual Diwali Mela six years ago was her concept and dream and she is very excited about having turned this dream into a reality. It has been highly successful and is coming up in its sixth consecutive year on October 22, 2016. She is grateful to the community for their generous support and excited to be able to add more activities and attractions to the Mela and the Newspaper with each upcoming year.
